Celebs tweet fire over Pink Taco’s ‘donkey’ publicity
Washington, May 7: Cinco de Mayo's publicity stunt at the well-known Pink Taco restaurant in Century City of California that shows a donkey chained outside the eatery, flagging the name of the restaurant painted on its shaved body, has outraged many a celebrity like singer Pink.
The donkey fully painted in pink, was made to stay outside in 90-degree heat for hours to encourage patrons to party at the establishment.
Minutes after the donkey's photo went viral, celebrities lashed out against the restaurant and took their anger to Twitter.
"Never go to @PinkTacoLA. Pic of the painted donkey chained to wall," RadarOnline.com quoted Singer Pink as tweeting.
"Wow u couldn't just get a pinata?? @PinkTacoLA. Sick, evil, cruel people. I will never eat at one of ur restaurants again," Stephanie Pratt, former star of The Hills, tweeted.
"@PinkTaco that is so wrong, it makes me hurt inside" twitted MTV star Lo Bosworth responding to Pratt's tweet.
According to sources PETA, officials are looking into the incident.
