Gaddafi's 'voluptuous blonde' applies for political asylum in Norway

London, May 7: The Ukrainian 'voluptuous blonde' nurse named Galyna Kolotnytska, who was Muammar Muhammad al- Gaddafi's companion has applied for political asylum in Norway.

On a flight to Kiev, Kolotnytska, 40, told co-passengers that she is 'Gaddafi's woman'.

However, she out rightly refused to comment on suggestions from secret US documents that she could be Gaddafi's lover, reports the Daily Mail.

Kolotnytska had fled from Tripoli for Kiev in February, when it became apparent that Gaddafi's regime could be toppled.

Norwegian security police confirmed that Kolotnytska had arrived in Oslo and was seeking asylum over there. Her case is under consideration.

"Gaddafi relies heavily on his long-time Ukrainian nurse, Galyna Kolotnytska, who has been described as a 'voluptuous blonde", wrote Gene Cretz, the US ambassador to Libya.

It was reported that Gaddafi refused to travel without the 'voluptuous blonde' because she alone 'knows his routine'. Some embassy contacts also claimed there was a romantic relationship between the two.
