Marie Osmond remarries hubby in same wedding dress!

London, May 06: American actress Marie Osmond wore the same wedding dress when she re-married sportsman Steve Craig in Las Vegas 29 years later.

The singer, 51, admitted the gown was a tight squeeze but said she was determined to wear the dress she loved to re-marry the first man she ever loved.

The sister of Seventies heartthrob Donny Osmond said that she had commissioned a new dress for her Mormon ceremony.

But she said that when she tried it on, she felt it "wasn't right".

"I was so sad, I was actually kind of in tears. Then I was cleaning out my garage and all of a sudden this box showed up in this pile of stuff... and it was this dress, and it was five days ago. I'm not kidding. Isn't that crazy?" the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

The long-sleeved, satin and lace dress, which she wore in 1982 had been designed by Ret Turner.

The couple wed in 1986, and during their 20 years together had two children, Rachel and Matthew, and adopted five more, one of whom was Michael. During that marriage, Osmond admitted she suffered post-natal depression.

She chose her wedding day specially to mark the birthdays of both Michael and her late mother, Olive. Osmond, whose first hit was Paper Roses in 1973, carried a bouquet of white roses.
