Jim Carrey's website wins top honours for being a "visual treat"

London, March 17: Jim Carrey's official website has bagged top honours at the SXSW (South By Southwest) Web Awards.

The site www.jimcarrey.com, which was judged on visual design, creativity and content, received the top award in the film/TV category, reports the Mirror.

The website, a collaborative effort between Carrey and interactive marketing firm 65 Media, has also won rave reviews from critics.ntertainment Weekly dubbed the site "a visually stunning treat" while TotalFilm.com said it was "the best site on the web".

According to Entertainment Tonight, the site, unveiled last November, received 35,000 hits in the first weekend after its launch, the highest for any celeb website.
