Pocket watch sales soar thanks to ‘Alice In Wonderland’ success
From ANILondon, March 17: Sales of pocket watches have soared ever since the launch of 'Alice In Wonderland', which has made grandad's favourite timepiece trendy again.
Argos reports sales of its 38.99 pounds timepiece have soared 35 percent thanks to the smash-hit movie directed by Tim Burton, reports the Mirror.
The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry.
The film uses a technique of combining live action and animation.
