Illegal sex case will soon be over: Polanski's wife
From ANILondon, March 16: Roman Polanski's wife Emmanuelle Seigner is sure her husband's legal woes will get over "pretty soon", insisting they have left behind the worst of the Oscar-winning filmmaker's 32-year-old illegal sex case.
Seigner, 43, has been supportive of Polanski, 76, as he battles his extradition to the US for a 1977 charge of illegal intercourse with a 13-year-old girl.
Polanski pleaded guilty to the charge but fled the US before he could be sentenced. Swiss police arrested the famed director last September and he has since been under house arrest at his ski chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland.
In a rare TV interview in Poland, Seigner, who recently disclosed she and her children, Elvis and Morgane, are not living with Polanski, said their life is "good" but "not ideal".
However she is confident the case will be "solved and over pretty soon".
"The toughest moments are behind us," the Daily Star quoted her as saying, in the interview.
