Linda Hamilton disappointed with 'Terminator Salvation'

London, Feb 5: Actress Linda Hamilton has revealed that she was left disappointed by 'Terminator Salvation', which she insists paled in comparison to James Cameron's original films.

Hamilton, 53, had played iconic character Sarah Connor in 'The Terminator' and 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day', which are Cameron's cult stories about a future war between humans and machines.

The Canadian director did not return to the franchise for 2003's 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' or the subsequent 2009 reboot featuring Christian Bale as freedom fighter John Connor.

And Hamilton admits she was less than impressed with the latest movie.

"The film was not nearly as exciting as I thought it should be, which is funny because it had all those elements and good actors," the Daily Star quoted her as telling Digital Spy.

"You can take everything, throw everything and the kitchen sink in and it still was not a James Cameron film," she stated.

The actress also didn't like the computer-generated cameo appearance from her former co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"It was strange. I'm not sure that it was 100 per cent successful, either," she added.
