Courteney Cox to resume Cougar Town production

Washington, November 24: Courteney Cox will be returning to the set of new TV series Cougar Town after it was put to a brief halt.

The actress, who serves as executive producer on the comedy, had halted the production over an undisclosed matter.

A spokesperson for the former Friends star, who plays single mum Jules in the series, at the time said Courteney needed to deal with 'a private family matter', reports People magazine.

And now, her rep has confirmed the 45-year-old will head back to work on the ABC show.

Her co-star Busy Phillips also said on his Twitter page that Cougar Town was "only down one day" and that "we're back shooting after Thanksgiving. I'll pass along the love to CC."
