UK footie fans warned not to drink or go bare chested against-Qatar
From ANILondon, Nov. 4: British soccer fans have warned that they could end up in court if they drink or go bare-chested when England play in Qatar next week.
The Islamic state bans drinking or being drunk in public. And wearing shorts or stripping off a shirt in the 860F (300C) sunshine could offend the locals, The Sun quoted officials, as warning.
Rude gestures and kissing a girlfriend in public could also lead to court in the Gulf state.
The Footballer Supporters' Federation said: "The consequences of falling foul of the authorities in Qatar can be pretty drastic."
