Alba makes donation to United Way after apology for a poster

New Delhi, June 19: Just days after she ran trouble for attaching one of the United Way's billboards in Oklahoma City, American film and TV actress Jessica Alba has made a donation to the charity.

An announcement regarding the donation came from the United Way of Central Oklahoma on Thursday.

Spokeswoman Erin Brewer has revealed that Alba's lawyer asked the charity not to disclose the amount, but that Alba qualified for a program that recognizes donors who give 500 dollars or more.

According to the China Daily, she deemed it "generous" and "appropriate".

The 28-year-old actress had been in Oklahoma City filming the movie 'The Killer Inside Me'.

She previously apologized for putting up posters aimed at raising awareness about the declining population of great white sharks.

The actress will not face any criminal charges, according to police.
