Restaurateur slams Sylvester Stallone for ordering what he could not afford
From ANIWashington, Oct 13: 'Rocky Balboa' star Sylvester Stallone frequently ordered high-priced items he seemingly couldn't afford, according to a tell-all book by New York restaurateur.
In his tome 'Dirty Dishes', Italian-born restaurateur Pino Luongo recalls Stallone splashing out on dinner with U.S. tycoon Ronald Perelman only to have his assistant call to complain about his extortionate drinks tab.
The businessman, who claims New York's Il Cantinori among his celebrity-dining hot-spots, writes that the 61-year-old star raked up a bill of 800 dollars on dinner with Perelman at exclusive Upper East Side eatery Coco Pazzo.
"Stallone was shocked to see that he had an 800 dollars wine tab," Contactmusic quoted him as writing in the book.
"If he can't afford or doesn't want to spend a lot of money on wine, then he shouldn't order things without asking how much they cost," he added.
