Hamilton labeled a `cocky track bully’ by Polish racer
From ANILondon, Oct.11: A Polish racer has labeled Lewis Hamilton a cocky track bully.
Robert Kubica, who wants Ferrari’s Felipe Massa to snatch the title, slammed Hamilton for his driving in Italy last month when he overtook a clutch of fellow racers in a series of sweeping moves.
BMW star Kubica, who has been a friend of Hamilton since their karting days, was quoted by The Sun as saying: “My head tells me Lewis will be world champion — but my heart hopes it will be Felipe. I know Lewis is seven points clear but I would prefer Felipe.
“There are two different ways you can drive. You can be aggressive but stay fair. Or you can be too aggressive and too self-confident. What Lewis did in Monza, that was too much.
Hamilton, 23, said: “I don’t care what the other guys think. I’m here doing my own job. represent my team, myself, my family, my country and I do it the best way I can.”
Hamilton has 84 points — seven clear of Massa — and needs two wins from the final three races to be crowned F1 champion.
