Nepal Foreign Minister in India for BIMSTEC moot
From ANINew Delhi, Aug 28: Nepal Minister for Foreign Affairs Upendra Yadav arrived here today to attend a meeting of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
According to sources, the meeting will dwell on terrorism, energy, food crisis, poverty alleviation and change in water and air.
It will also discuss on the easy visa access, development of separate centers for climate and energy and establishment of stable parliament.
BIMSTEC is an international organisation involving a group of countries in South Asia and South East Asia which includes the countries including Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri-Lanka, Thailand and Myanmar.
Yadav will meet Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and other political leaders during his visit.
