Spy film 'Mukhbir' to narrate a unique tale
From ANIMumbai, Aug 23: Bollywood director Mani Shankar and actor Sameer Dattani get candid and talk about their movie 'Mukhbir' that revolves around the life of a spy of an Indian intelligence agency.
The film, a spy thriller, doesn't really have a major Bollywood star but this promotional offer might just help draw in audiences on the lookout for some free entertainment.
Sameer Dattani said that the movie has fetched them appreciation at almost all the screenings till date and is hopeful that the audiences will appreciate their sincere efforts.
"Well, I am very excited, it's a great film, it shaped up really well and got some amazing responses from the film festival and the few screenings that we have had so far.," said Dattani.
Sankar who is best known for his direction of popular Hindi films like 16 December, Rudraksh, and, Tango Charlie said the story has been told in a very unique manner.
"Mukhbir is a story which has never been told before. It is a story of how intelligence penetrates the underworld and is an exciting cutting edge thriller," said Shankar.
The film stars Sameer Dattani, Sunil Shetty, Om Puri, Rahul Dev, Raima Sen. Jackie Shroff is in Guest appearance and is produced by Sudhish Rambhotla.
P.K. Mishra has penned the lyrics of the film while the music has been given by duo Sashi Pritam and Kartik Raja.
