Music of the Bollywood film 'De Taali' launched in Mumbai

Mumbai, May 18: The music of the film 'De Taali', was launched by Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt at a glittering function held in Mumbai.


The film is produced by Sahara One Motion Pictures and Rising Star Entertainment production.

It has been directed by E. Niwas, the director known for making hard-hitting movies like Dum and Bardaasht.

The film stars Aftab Shivdasani, Ayesha Takia and Ritesh Deshmukh among others.

The director E. Niwas, while interacting with the media present at the music release said that this was the movie, which every youngster would easily relate to.

"Everybody can relate to it but today's youth can definitely relate to this film. It'll take you to your college days. It'll take you to nostalgic days. It's funny, it has emotions, how the modern generation sees the problem in today's life," said Niwas.

While Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh said the movie focuses mainly on youngsters therefore it was named as 'De Tali'.

"Because it's a very young film, very youthful, energetic film, it has various colours, so we thought that De Taali would be very apt and appropriate because it signifies youth, it signifies fun and it signifies a lot of happiness and this film is all about that so that's why we named it De Taali," said Ritesh.

'De Taali' is a fun about three close friends who have distinct characteristics, one is perpetually in search of love, the other isn't aware that she's in love and the third one is trying to get the two together. Confusion ensues as other characters are introduced and create hilarious situations.

Music directors Vishal and Shekhar have lived up to their reputation of churning out foot tapping and chartbusting numbers, while Abass Tyrewalla has penned the lyrics.

Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia present at the occasion spoke at length about the music of the film.

"Vishal-Shekhar have composed the music for the film. I think the music is phenomenal. I think this is my best music besides Salaam-e-Ishq, It really didn't feel like Hindi movie music or just normal club music. It felt like there is lot of trans and techno and something very-very interesting. I think the youth will really-really like the music," said Ayesha Takia.

The movie is slated for June 20 release.
