India will fight against terror: Patil

From ANI

Jaipur, May 15: After visiting Jaipur blast victims, Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil today said that India will fight against terror at all costs and thwart the designs of terrorists to disturb peace and communal harmony in the country.

"The wicked designs of terrorists will be thwarted boldly and their attempts will be foiled," Patil told reporters at the Sawai Man Singh hospital in Jaipur.

Patil said, "The Centre would give all possible assistance and help to the State to meet any exigency on the terror front. Whatever action is required, the Centre would do it immediately to enable the State government to face any such challenge."

He also appreciated the people of Jaipur for maintaining peace and harmony following the explosions, which have claimed 64 lives.

The sketch of a suspect was released by Rajasthan police last night.

Sources in security agencies said that the email has three video attachments shot by a mobile phone camera.

While the first video of three seconds shows a brand new cycle, the two others of four seconds each focus on a new cycle parked in a two-wheeler stand with its carrier having a blue bag purportedly carrying a bomb.

The email said, "This is a clear warning to you (the US and the UK)...Don't send your people to India and if you do so then you people will be welcomed by our suicide attackers."

It referred to an earlier electronic message sent while the blasts in court premises in three cities in Uttar Pradesh took place in November last year.

The email claimed that Indian Mujahideen had formed three wings Shahbuddin Gohri Brigade (for South India), Mahmood Gazni Brigade (for North India) and Shaheed Al-Zarqawi Brigade (suicide attackers) to target various cities in the country.
