Britney promises to be home for birth of sis's baby

Washington, May 12: Britney Spears might return home to Kentwood, for she has promised her little sister Jamie Lynn that would be with her when the 16-year-old gives birth to her first baby.

A friend close to the Spears family that during the baby shower, the pop star told her little sister that she wanted to stay with her during the birth of her child, who is due to enter the world on June 29.

"At the baby shower, she told her little sister she wanted to be there for her the entire time," E! Online quoted the friend as saying.

"I'm not sure how Casey is going to feel about that. But Jamie Lynn seems pretty excited," the friend added.

However, Britney will have to ask her dad for permission to go.

"She had to ask him if it was ok to go back for the shower," the friend said.

"He has to give her permission to travel, and the money to do it. It's not that he doesn't want her there for her little sister. It's just that he thinks it's best to keep Britney close to home right now," the friend added.
