Released 911 call reveals woman's plight PLANTATION, Fla., May 3 (UPI) -- Florida resident Olidia Kerr Day screamed for help to 911 operators while being chased by the man who eventually killed her, a released 911 call reveals.
The 911 phone call made by Day recorded he frantically asking for help from police while attempting to reach a police station in Plantation, Fla., all the while with her ultimate killer in pursuit in another vehicle, The Miami Herald reported Saturday.
''Please hurry,'' Day told the 911 operator April 25. "Please, he's going to kill me.''
Police said Day did reach the police station, but was shot three times by her pursuer, Carlos Bolivar Cevallos, before officers could intervene. After fatally shooting Day, Cevallos shot himself.
The Herald said a suicide note written in Spanish and addressed topolice was found in Cevallos' pocket after he died, but the contents of that letter have not been released to the media.
The incident occurred after Day was overheard arguing with Cevallos, who she reportedly had met only three weeks prior.
