| Jalandhar is a great place. People there are very friendly and courteous. I enjoyed visiting Jalandhar twice in 2004 on a Commonweath Teacher Fellowship. Hansraj Maha Mahila Vidyalaya is an excellent instititution. I enjoyed their Platinum Jubilee very much. I would like to wish all staff and students " A Happy New Year". I was born in Mohalla Puran Kachehry on 19 March 1945 at my maternal grandfather's home. My paternal grandfather was from Mohalla Pucca Bagh. His ancestral village was Garha - Jalandhar City. | rocking city? no public transport, badly managed traffic, no markets at
convenient locations, no tourist attractions. my friends from mumbai wanted
to visit me and asked what is there to see in jalandhar, I said nothing
except model town and reinak bazar. To travel 3 kms you pay 20 bucks for a
rick while in mumbai you can travel that distance for 3 bucks. sorry

| All that happened apart from physical & verbal abuse of a student i like to
bring another regrettable point in this whole discussion this is the same
professor who passed racial comments on students that he use to make
biasing and differentiate among the students on the basis of Punjabis n
Non-Punjabis although it never made any diff among students as they know
what is right and wrong.... n more than dat he passed lewd comments on an
reserved category student(SC/ST) that you people are just wasting time as

| there is breaking news for u in nation institute of technology jalandhar.
here around 1000 students(boys and girls) are on strike from 14
hr.(yesterday night 11 pm) because of mis behaviour , abusing and slapping
to a final year student. if u r interested then plz come to our collage ,
