Greater Noida is no doubt the best place in NCR to live but isolation and lack of entertainment facilities deter people to put up here in large numbers. The people who hv received huge money in the form of compensation usually are mostly illiterate and donot behave properly causing nuisance which may be in Anal Plaza Screens, Resturants and and other places,these people need to be roped in.

Greater Noida is not secured at all. It is like hell in a cell.

GRENO is definitely one of the best places to live in as the basic ammenities like wide roads, water, electricity, hospitals, institutions etc. are all available here. It is world class as far as infrastructure is concerned and going ahead Formula 1 race and metro connectivity would be cherry on the cake.

Hi, I am planning to buy an apartment and moving to Greater Noida and only concerns i have is about security? Is Security so bad in Greater Noida that the residents cannot commute to Noida and come back home safely?

Yes, No second thought on the Greater Noida, Undoubtly It is one of the best cities In India To live in, basic aminities like roads/parks/malls /infrastructure and best in all aspects.

Only matter of worry is the security which needs to be tightned and we need to make sure any repeated acts of robbery and murder are tracked and if crime is reduces surely this will be India's No1 City.

After many many years of planning,finaly I have decided to live at Greater Noida after my retirement.At present,I am living with my family in Norway,and if I compare any city of Norway (richest country in the world)to the Greater Noida, I find many things in common,eg.wide roads,beautiful buildings,malls,universities,hospitals,entertainment events and of course standared of living.May be,one should think bit more about cleaness in future (both from govt.and from public sides)Greater Noida is a future city of India to live,but there are some problems,like curruption,securty and transportaion. GOD BLESS GREATER NOIDA.

As far as law and order situation is considered, its not good all over NCR whether its gurgoan, Faridabad, noida or even Delhi. For transportation, Authorities are quite concerned over this and most probably, we'll see some kind of Metro link to gr. noida in 2 - 3 years.
The main thing to consider about gr. noida is its planning, it is planned with a very long term view. Moreover, Have a look at the kind of projects coming up in gr. noida (Expo Mart, F1 track, Night Safari, International Cricket stadium). Considering all these quite pretty facts, there's no doubt future lies in gr. noida both for investors and end users.
I am bullish on gr. noida, currently we are holding 2 properties here and planning to buy few ones.

NO DOUBT IT IS VERY GOOD CITY .BUT THERE IS LOT OF CURRUPTION IN ALL GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION IN GREATERNOIDA. EVEN FARMER GIVE RANSOM/GOOSE FOR TAKING THEIR LAND COMPENSATION. 6 % LAND ALSO ALLOTED TO GIVE 1000/METER RUPEES TO AUTHORITIES EMPLOYEES ETC.
AUTHORITY DESTROY THE LOCAL PEOPLE.AUTHORITY WANTS TO RUNAWAY ALL THE FARMERS FROM GREATERNOIDA.AUTHORITY WANT TO RELOCATE OUTER PEOPLE HERE

Hi, Indeed, Greater Noida city is extremely excellent,beautiful and marvelous. But the main problems are transportation and law & order. The people who lives there and coming to Delhi, vice versa,for their work, faces great difficulties for up& down. If transportation facility like metro rail is connected from the noida city centre, it will be very beneficial for the public. It is understood that UP Govt, GINDA, DMRC and Delhi Govt.will aprove the same at the earliest and construction work may be started in 2010. UP Govt., GINDA should take care of the law and order problem in the city. Thanks

Greater Noida is becoming the number one crime city in India. As of now sector like Delta becomes ghost town after 7 evening. Biker gang + snatcher + local community’s mindset made the worst place for outsiders to live there.

In my opinion, its a good place to stay. Some electricity problem is there. Water supply is good. Security is good on express way but not on underpasses beneath the express way. So avoid it after 10 at night. 60% population is of students, 20% families and rest are outsiders. Basic amenities like parking, water, greenery is in plenty. If you like nature better stay there. If you want to compare it with any other city then compare it only with Chandigarh. Ground wiring, wide roads is other attractions.
