Assam, more than tea and rhinos - Assam produces 60% of India’s total tea. This northeastern state of India is mainly agricultural and owns a serene countryside. The one-horned rhinoceros is found in the Kaziranga National Park. The Manas National Park is a part of the Project tiger. The Bramhaputra River is situated in Assam’s capital Guwahati where the Kamakhya Mandir is quite famous. Guwahati is the main transport hub of Assam.
