Leona Lewis is a recent winner of the third installment of the hit series "The X Factor". Lewis has since gone on to become an international recording sensation, behind hit singles like "Bleeding Love" and "A Moment Like This". Bleeding Love went on to become the No. 1 single in the UK in 2007, and it eventually reached No. 1 in the U.S. of March of 2008.

By reaching No. 1, Leona Lewis became just the sixth English female musician to make it to the top spot in America.

He debut album, "Spirit", was released in 2007 November.

Ms. Lewis was born in Islington, London, England, on April 3, 1985 to parents Aural Josiah, a Guyanese Afro-Caribbean youth worker, and Maria Lewis, a social worker of Anglo-Welsh descent.
