Kristen Stewart Biography

Kristen Stewart, born on April 9, 1990 in Los Angeles, California, is an American film and television actress. She is best known for her roles in the films Panic Room, Catch That Kid, Speak, Zathura, The Messengers, In the Land of Women and Into the Wild.

In 1999 Stewart had a minor role in the made-for-television movie that was entitled The Thirteenth Year. She then went on to appear in the independent film The Safety of Objects. In this movie she played the role of tomboy who had a troubled single mother. Stewart has also had a role in the major Hollywood movie, Panic Room. After this success she was cast in Cold Creek Manor. Here she played the daughter of Dennis Quaid and Sharon Stone.  Unfortunately, this film was a failure but it did land Stewart her first starring role in the children's
action-comedy Catch That Kid.

Some of the other movies that Stewart has been in include:
1.She played a highly critically acclaimed role in the television film Speak (2004). When she was cast in this role she was only 14-years-old but was said to have done a great job with the few speaking roles that she had in this film.
2.She appeared in the fantasy-adventure film Zathura.
3.She had a role in a romantic drama, The Land Of Women.
4.She had a role in Sean Penn's Academy Award winning movie, Into the Wild.
5.She co-starred in The Cake Eaters.
6.She also co-starred in The Yellow Handkerchief.
7.She was filmed in Adventureland in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania's Kennywood.

Today Stewart is working on producing the movie Twilight in which she will play Bella Swan. In this movie she will co-star with Robert Pattinson. While the film began production in February 2008, it is not expected to be done until December 2008.
