On August 14, 1996 Halle Berry was born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Upon her graduation from Bedford High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Halle Berry attended college near her home at Cuyahoga Community College. While attending college she entered numerous beauty contests. Eventually she went on to win the Miss Teen All-American pageant in 1985, followed by her win of the Miss Ohio USA, which led to hear being able to be in the Miss USA World pageant in 1986, which she also won. It was here, in 1986, at the Miss USA World pageant that Halle Berry announced that she would like to be able to go on to become an entertainer or to have something to do with the media. She has seen her words come true in that she is now an award winning American actress.

Her breakthrough role was in the 1991 feature film, Jungle Fever. This role led her to have numerous other roles in films, including:
1.The Flintstones in 1994
2.Bulworth in 1998
3.X-Men in 2000 (She also appeared in the sequels to this movie as well.)
4.Die Another Day
5.Catwoman in 2005 (She actually won a worst actress Razzie award for this movie, which did not seem to bother her much, if at all, since she went ahead and accepted this award in person.)

She also appeared in the short-lived television series, Living Dolls.

Halle Berry has been very successful over the years. Throughout her career she has won numerous awards including an Academy Award, an Emmy, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and a SAG. These awards have led her to become one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. Currently she is not only the Revlon spokeswoman but she is also attempting to expand into the production side of Hollywood.
