Emile Hirsch Biography

Emile Hirsch was born on March 13, 1985 in Topanga, California.  However, he was raised in Los Angeles, California and then in Santa Fe, New Mexico after his parents got a divorce. Throughout his childhood Emile Hirsch attended the Paul Revere Middles School before entering into the Academy of Music at Alexander Hamilton High School in Los Angeles, California. While he was really into music, it was actually his sister Jenny who introduced him to acting and helped him to establish an interest in the field.  He then went on to begin performing in the late 1990s.

Today Emile Hirsch is well-known as an American television and film actor. He has actually appeared in several television series and movies over the years. Emile Hirsch has held roles in Lords of Dogtown, The Emperor's Club, The Girl Next Door, Alpha Dog and Into the Wild, which was directed by Sean Penn.  Now he is going on to co-star in the movie Milk with Sean Penn.  Currently he also has a movie in theaters entitled Speed Racer (May 2008). As such, Emile Hirsch is managing to actually carve out quite a career and a name for himself whenever it comes to the American film industry.
