Facebook Now Emailing Weekly Stats to Page Admins

I though it was a phishing scam at first, but it wasn’t. Out of nowhere Facebook email me stats on a couple of business/fan pages that I help set up. ADHEREL

The email summarizes all the pages you admin with breakdowns of new fans, new wall posts, comments and a few other goodies.

The email looks like this:
Here is this week’s summary for the Facebook Page:

+16 Fans this week (1,636 total Fans)
16 Wall Posts, Comments, and Likes this week (12 last week)
235 Visits to your page this week (213 Visits last week)

and since the subject is “Your Weekly Facebook Page Update” one can only assume I’ll be getting a new one each Wednesday. Though Wednesday is a strange day for the updates. Thanks anyways Facebook.

You can turn that very annoying Weekly Facebook Page Update “feature” on/off here. Look for ‘Weekly page updates for admins’.
