Google Leads February Search Traffic; Facebook Gains

According to comscore, Google remains the top search engine by a wide margin after a the release of February numbers. ADHEREL

Google and its sites enjoyed 65.5% of the U.S. share of searches followed by Yahoo at 16.8% and Microsoft 11.5%.

Google and its sites tallied about 13.5 billion searches. No. 2 was Yahoo with 2.5 billion. Microsoft sites including Bing came in at 1.7 billion.

While overall internet search traffic fell by 4% from January with Google down 4%, Yahoo 6% and Microsoft 3%, Facebook was the big gainer with a 10% search growth from 396 million to 453 million queries executed in February.
