You remember Tron? The campy 80s sci-flick with recent Academy Award winner Jeff Bridges riding his bike (or Light Cycle) and escaping peril while inside a computer.

Well, nearly 30 years later Tron is back. The follow up, Tron Legacy, opens at the end of the year on December 17. Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner return for the nerdy sequel which just wrapped up shooting. The plot centers around Bridges’ kid, Sam, going back into that same video computer game in the first film to find/rescue dad.

The Disney film will also be available in 3-D.
