By the looks of it, twitter is having some serious issues today. The popular microblogging site, which I occasionally make use of, has been down by my watch for about 90 minutes now, or since 9am ET.
Twitter doesn’t have a huge staff – i’m told under 20 people – and with their buggy interface, loads of new users signing up each day it’s a wonder they are able to keep that ship afloat.
I’ve sent in support tickets and they do take a while to get answered – sometimes weeks! But credit to them, the product is a hit.
But with the twitter outage, it’s interesting to see all the apps take one on the chin this morning. Let’s hope for the tweeple they get this sorted out.
Addicts to the #iranelection channel believe it’s a conspiracy by the Iranian government!
It is amazing that a website that gets so much media attention and so much traffic is constantly so darn buggy.
