Firefox Entry Box Memory

One of many features I like about Firefox – and I’m sure this is available on other browsers so by no means is it exclusive – is it’s ability to remember what you previously entered into forms and search bars.

The feature, which you can enable by clicking Tools > Privacy > Remember Forms, is a real time saver if you’re the type of surfer who fills out a lot of online forms which include common entries like addresses, credit cards #, user IDs and emails.

Of course there’s a dangerous downside, and that is if someone else is using your browser your stored form input will get pulled up again when clicked, so be careful with highly personal information if you have more than one user on your PC.

And if you do, or to just be on the safeside, to clear you data, just click Tools > Click Private Data and all you prior form entries will be wiped out.
