Victoria Beckham was born as Victoria Caroline Adams. However, she is most commonly known as Posh Spice as she is a pop singer and songwriter with the Spice Girls. In fact, it was in the 1990s that she rose to fame thanks to her role with the Spice Girls.

So, how did Victoria Beckham get her start in this industry? Surprisingly enough, it actually happened after she watched the musical “Fame,” which inspired her to become a singer. Knowing their daughter's desire, Beckham's parents enrolled her in the Jason Theatre School in Hoddesdon. She then attended the Laine Theatre Arts College in Epsom, Surrey where she studied both dance and modeling. While she had no friends at that time, success soon followed her when she became a member of the Spice Girls.

The Spice Girls all had their own separate careers while a part of this group. Beckham actually scored four UK top 10 singles as a solo artist with both Virgin Records and Telestar Records at this time. She also gained great success as an international fashion icon during which time she has created her own denim brand, sunglasses, handbags and fragrances. While you would think that this would keep Beckham so busy that she would not have time for anything else, you would be surprised to find that she has also had five documentaries and reality shows made about her. She has also made a cameo appearance in Ugly Betty and been a guest judge on Project Runway.

She is married to football star David Beckham now of the LA Galaxy.
